(H) HARD – Good for a pool cue that is set up for less deflection. The contact time between the tip and the cue ball is minimal. The cue ball path is almost straight even if applying English. No matter the distance of the cue ball and object ball, the player can maintain momentum of the cue ball but would have difficulty achieving the “kill shot” with spin. Works well if the cloth is humid and cue ball feels heavy
